Bob’s is an artist-run gallery that began in an empty room in the apartment of actor and writer Bob Laine. Founded in 2022 by Sammy Bennett, with co-directors Paz Rocio Mallea Rubilar, Rui, and Til Will, Bob’s emphasizes collaboration and experimental curatorial programming. The gallery provides artists with a space to take creative risks, foster dialogue, and engage with New York’s arts community. Its migratory, collaborative model embraces the gallery as a temporal site for experimentation, exchange, and collective practice.
In September of 2026, Bob’s moved to a new space in Chinatown/Two Bridges and joined Nine, a curatorial partnership with Curmudgeon, Mall and Site Service. Together we share the space housing rotating exhibitions, public programs, and community centered activations.
